Spartans rally to pick up first win of season 9-6 over Elverado.

Jeff Dees picked up the first win on the mound this year for the Spartans throwing a complete game 7 hitter. Dees struck out 3 and walked 3.

WSV was lead at the plate behind Tim Skidmore and Brett Crocker. The pair combined for a 5-8 day at the plate with 4 RBI.

The Spartans were tied going into the 6th but rallied behind a big 2 RBI single from Jarod Talbert to score 3 runs in the inning.

Spartans host Carterville tomorrow at 4:30.
