WSV fell in a big conference game today 6-5 to Woodlawn.

Spartans spotted Woodlawn 5 runs in the first 2 innings and never could get the big rally going. WSV had 8 hits on the day and many right at the defense.

Kluck threw the first 2 1/3 innings allowing 5 runs. Dees finished the remaining 3 1/3 innings allowing 1 run.

Spartans was lead at the plate by Petro who went 2-4 and 2 RBI with a big homerun. Witge also had a 2-4 day with 2 RBI.

Spartans have to rebound as the conference schedule increases in the upcoming days. WSV hosts Grayville at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
